Improving Breast Imaging

One of the first steps towards the quality of breast imaging was the implementation of the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). There will be references to the MQSA throughout this study, and changes that have been made to make the system better. This course will cover ways to improve the interpretation of mammograms, possible shortages in the workforce, other modalities used in detecting breast cancer, and information about what goes on behind the scenes; regulations, inspections, enforcement, and legal liabilities.

Approved for 16 Category A Credits and 16 Florida State Technical Hours. Meets all other state requirements.
