MRI: The Basics

This homestudy course provides the basic concepts of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in an easy to understand format. MRI has it’s own language and our intention is to familiarize the technologist learning MRI, or reaffirm the seasoned technologist with terms used only in MRI. This course has Mathematical formulas, equipment preparation, equipment specifications and requirements plus much more information needed to perform examinations.

It is a great tool for technologists considering a move into MRI, for the technologist preparing for the MRI registry or for an MRI technologist looking to refresh their knowledge. It also explains new techniques in MR angiography and the newer faster scanning techniques.

APPROVED FOR 21.75 Category A credits and accepted by Florida State  for Technical Hours. Meets all other state requirements, except California and Iowa.

Please be aware, the ARRT is making some changes on how credit is distributed.  This courses will have some changes to the post test after 5/30/2023.  If you have not completed it by then please contact us for the updates.  The changes will be either some added or deleted test questions.  If this is confusing to you, we understand that.
