Radiation Biology and Protection

THIS COURSE IS PENDING APPROVAL. Radiation is the primary basis of all radiology departments. Ionizing radiation is potentially life altering and fatal. This course will refresh you in its easy to follow format. It covers everything from basic concepts to history of radiation biology and onto relationships of the body with radiation. Most importantly it covers how to protect ourselves and our patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.

PENDING APPROVAL FOR 8 Category A Credits, and is accepted by Florida State  for technical hours. Meets the 4 hour Radiation Safety for the Clinical Uses of Fluoroscopy Requirements in the State of California. Meets all other state requirements.

Please be aware, the ARRT is making some changes on how credit is distributed.  This courses will have some changes to the post test after 4/30/2023.  If you have not completed it by then please contact us for the updates.  The changes will be either some added or deleted test questions.  If this is confusing to you, we understand that.
