Radiation Protection in Medical Radiography 9TH ED.

Please note this course will only be available until 2/29/2024.  Questions, call or text (941)238-8614.

This course is based on the textbook Radiation Protection in Medical Imaging 9th ed. Obtain 1.0 credits up to 20.5 total credits.  This course will give an over view of radiation types, sources and doses. Measuring radiation, monitoring and the effects on the system. It goes in to cell biology and what radiation can do to the cells. It covers the equipment and how to properly use radiation protection. We hope to promote the safe use of radiation and the equipment in involved while using radiation whether it be diagnostic or therapeutic, and to always protect yourself, the patient and any one in close proximity.

This course has been approved for a grand total of 20.5 Cat A Credits, see details below.  This course has also been approved for the state of Florida.  The entire course  includes 15.5 CEC in Radiation Safety for the Clinical Uses of Fluoroscopy in the state of California.  Meets all other state requirements and  has been reviewed by the ARRT for CQR & STRUCTURED EDUCATION CREDIT.
